The CNCA and the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development have decided to apply the "Code for Quality Management of Engineering Construction Enterprises" (GB/T50430-2007) in the quality management system certification in the field of construction.

CNCA has issued Announcement No. 21 on June 10, 2010, requiring that from November 1, 2010, when implementing ISO9001 certification for construction enterprises in China, it should be based on GB/T50430-2007 and GB/T50430-2007. /T19001-2008 to carry out certification audit activities.

Therefore, units with construction qualifications issued by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, such as applying for the ISO9001 quality management system, must also implement the GB/T50430-2007 standard.
