The new version of ISO14001:2015 environmental management system standard was officially released

On July 1, 2014, the DIS version of ISO14001:2015 was officially released. This marks another historic step in the revision process of ISO14001:2015 environmental management system.


The technical committee No. 207 (TC207 for short) is responsible for the preparation of the ISO14001:2015 standard. The ISO14001 environmental management system released the first edition in 1996 and the second edition in 2004. According to ISO official news: the 2015 edition of the standard The final version of the ISO 14001:2015 standard will be released by the end of 2015. The ISO14001:2015 standard clearly states: The purpose of this ISO14001:2015 standard is to provide organizations with a systematic framework to protect the environment and respond to changing environmental conditions and socio-economic balance needs .It enables organizations to improve their environmental performance by standardizing the requirements of the ISO14001:2015 Environmental Management System.
