ISO Officially Releases Guidelines for the Application of ISO 9001:2015
On September 23, 2015, ISO9001:2015 was officially released. ISO officials have also released ISO 9001:2015 application guidelines. This guide is intended to assist users with some of the issues that need to be understood and considered during the coexistence of ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 9001:2015 standards. Now I will share the Chinese version of this guide with you for learning and reference!
I. Overview
This guide is to help users understand and consider some of the issues that need to be understood and considered during the coexistence of ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 9001:2015 standards. This guide is a general recommendation document and a comparison table of the correspondence between the ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 9001:2015 standard clauses can be found at www.iso.org/tc176/sc02/public.
The revision of ISO 9001:2015 adopted a new "ten chapter document structure", each chapter contains many new requirements and many clauses. Users need to take into account possible modifications to their quality management system.
2. Background of the revision process of ISO 9001:2015
In order to assist organizations in fully understanding the new version of ISO 9001:2015, the standard has been revised during the revision process to reflect useful comments received from users, taking into account the interests and implications of its development.
Before the start of the revision (or revision) of the quality management system standard, the "Necessity Study" project team submitted a report, using detailed data and materials to support the argument for the need for revision. Determine the development needs of ISO 9001:2015 users from the following aspects:
ISO Annex SL provides a common structure for the texts, terms and definitions of management system standards.
ISO/TC 176/SC2 members conducted a formal "systematic review" of the results of the application of ISO 9001:2008.
Feedback questions from the ISO/TC 176/SC2 working group on the interpretation of the standard.
ISO/TC 176/SC 2 conducts an extensive ISO 9001 "User Feedback Survey" among users worldwide.
The "Necessity Study" identified the following needs for standard revisions:
Adapt to a changing world
Improve the organization's ability to satisfy customers
To provide a continuous development foundation for the future
Reflect the increasingly complex operating environment of an organization
Ensuring that new standards reflect the needs of all stakeholders
Coordinate with other management systems
