What is the National Military Standard Certification?


  National military standard certification (GJB9001C-2017) is a key for private enterprises to enter the military industry, which means that only with this certification can your products participate in military production. Enterprises without national military standard certification (GJB9001C-2017) cannot enter the military industry system, of course, there are exceptions, that is, military products must use your things, and there are no other alternative products. For example, there are many imported products at present. They do not have the national military standard certification but the quality is reliable. They can also use their products for military production.


  The weapon equipment quality management system is a quality management system established, implemented and effectively operated according to GJB9001 "Quality Management System Requirements". The system is based on the equivalent of the national quality management system standard, and increases the military's participation in quality system management, "six characteristics" management, outsourcing quality control, software quality management, technical status management, risk control, and production process management. , special requirements for after-sales service management, quality information management, etc., as part of the standard (part of italics), listed after the corresponding clauses of the national standard, as supplementary clauses of the national standard. Units that apply for the qualification for the production of military-specific equipment (Class A) shall establish and effectively operate a quality management system for weapons and equipment.


  What are the basic conditions to apply for national military standard certification?


1. According to the relevant documents, the products and services of the applicant unit belong to the overall, key, important sub-systems and core supporting products of weaponry and equipment (that is, those listed in the catalogue of weapons and equipment scientific research and production licenses issued by the National Defense Science, Technology and Industry Administration and the General Armament Department). Compulsory weapon equipment quality system certification is required; special equipment and general ancillary products outside the licensed catalogue, and military products for civilian use do not require compulsory weapon equipment quality system certification;


  2. It meets the qualification requirements of the state and the army regarding the legal person qualification and professional technical qualification of weapons and equipment manufacturing units, and has fixed scientific research and production sites, inspection and testing methods, and corresponding professional and technical personnel;


  3. Establish and operate a quality management system for weapons and equipment for more than 3 months, and have completed internal audit and management review;


4. For units that have undertaken the task of equipment development and production, there should be a recommendation issued by the relevant equipment competent department or military representative agency; for those who have no experience in equipment development and production, but have the corresponding capacity for equipment development and production, and the relevant equipment competent department or national defense The competent department of science and technology industry and the unit that has the intention of developing and ordering the military industry group company shall have the recommendation opinions issued by the competent department of relevant equipment or the competent department of national defense science and technology industry, and the military industry group company;


  5. Orders and deliveries occur during operation, and military products should be produced during on-site audit.
